While
bleaching your hair, its structure goes through a significant change so you must use products that restore
its PH.
Why?
Bleaching
powder is alkaline. Due to this chemical property the cuticle (outermost layer
of hair) of hair expands and the bleaching powder penetrates.
After
having used alkaline products you must stop the expanding effect by applying
acid products (neutralizing) otherwise you hair will get damaged.
There
should be more acid bits remaining in your hair which contract hairs and
restore hair structure to the original condition.
These kind
of end-of-dye products have to be applied only after chemical treatments, but never mistake them for hair colour conditioning products.
Every
producer has a different end-of-dye PH restoring product that should be used only after chemical treatments.
Water
intake is very important
when it comes to taking care of your hair, you can achieve this by taking
mineral substances.
If the cuticle is damaged a great amount of
protein vanishes. In this case you need to take amino acid to replace them but
it would never happen
since I have worked out
a diagnosis sheet for you where you can read about your own tailor made
bleaching plan relevant to your natural hair colour and hair structure.
Between hair
dyes I do recommend to
use shampoo and conditioner containing keratin which moisturizes
your hair’s internal
structure and makes fibres soft.
I recommend to use argan oil on your hair ends.
It builds in immediately.
Argan oil should also be used before tanning. Both skin and hair should be protected against dryness.
Keep in mind
protecting your hair before blow drying or flat ironing!
